G. K. Chesterton, a gifted writer who lived at the turn of the last century, frequently spoke of "the romance of orthodoxy." By "orthodoxy" he meant historic Christianity, "the faith once for all delivered to the saints." By "romance" he meant, well . . . romance -- something both strange and familiar, something full of wonder and surprise. Something that storms the mind and captures the heart.
That something is really Someone -- the person of God revealed to us in Jesus Christ. At Christ Our King we desire to know God, to find joy in Him, to embrace a perilous relationship with Him. Perhaps God is leading you to share in this romance and join us for worship at Christ Our King. If so, we hope to see you soon.
