Nursery Volunteers Needed

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED … for DECEMBER & JANUARY … Please sign up on the Nursery Schedule sign-up sheet, indicating what date/s you can help during these two upcoming months. Nursery volunteers are needed for the full Sunday School hour and for the Worship period beginning from the hymn preceding the sermon through the end of the Worship Service. If you have any questions, please call Theresa Nelson, Nursery Coordinator. Thank you for your willingness to be a part of the lives of our church family’s littlest ones in this much-needed ministry. (Besides, they really are SO precious!!) There was a sign-up sheet on the back table today and it will be there next Sunday as well.

Spring Women's Bible Study

We’ll be discovering Lost Women of the Bible, an 11-wk study by Carolyn Custis James, on Wednesdays from 7-9pm, from January 9 to about March 19. The cost of the study book is about $12 plus shipping. If you would like us to order the book for you, please contact Nicole Driewer or Theresa Nelson on or before December 9. There is a sign-up sheet on the back table.

Holiday Events

Two Holiday events of note:

SAT, Dec 8 (time TBA) WOMEN'S CHRISTMAS COOKIE EXCHANGE. Bake up 2-3 dozen of your favorite Christmas cookies or candies to share as we gather in fellowship at Theresa Nelson's home. We'll also put together plates of goodies for our college students to enjoy. Contact Theresa Nelson or Laura Talbert for any questions.

LORD’S DAY, Dec 16, 3:30pm – FAMILY CAROLING – Please join our Christ Our King church family in sharing the joy of Christ’s coming through an afternoon of Christmas caroling at the Candlelight Lodge Nursing Home. ALL ages are most welcome. Contact Terri Royer for more information.

Women's Prayer and Fellowship

All women are invited to join us Wednesday, November 28 at 7pm for an evening of prayer, fellowship, and dessert at the Talbert home. A playroom for children is also available for those who would like to bring their young ones. Contact Laura with any questions.
