VAC Summer Fan Program

A message from the Voluntary Action Center:

Voluntary Action Center is collecting new fans and donations to purchase fans in order to help low-income families of Boone County stay cool during the hot summer months. Fans are distributed on a priority basis, with preference given to the elderly, disabled, pregnant moms, and families with infants and small children. Fan contributions or donations to VAC’s Summer Fan Program may be mailed or brought to the Voluntary Action Center at 800 N. Providence, Suite 220. This year, VAC has once again partnered with KOMU and Lowe’s on the KOMU Fan Club. Fans purchased and dropped off at Lowe’s at 201 Conley Road will be given directly to VAC for distribution to those in need. For more information, contact VAC at 573-449-6959.
