Congregational Meeting
Also this Sunday, May 7, we'll hold a brief congregational meeting at 11:30am. The meeting will include an informative briefing on the church’s summer plans & Pastor Tamerius’ upcoming sabbatical. Childcare will be provided, and the meeting will be short.
"I Go Bound" Breakfast
This Sunday, May 7, at 9:00, we will "send off" our church friends who are soon graduating and/or leaving Christ Our King. We invite those who are leaving to share briefly your plans and directions. (see Acts 20:22).
If you will be leaving us soon and are able to attend breakfast, please llet us know so we can plan a few minutes for you to share with us.
If you are NOT leaving us and are able to attend the breakfast, please RSVP to let us know if you’ll be able to bring any food items to the breakfast.

Kenneth Miller Speaks at MU
Kenneth Miller, author of Finding Darwin's God: A Scientist's Search for Common Ground between God and Evolution, and the lead expert witness in the recent trial of Kitzmiller et al., v. Dover School District, et al., will deliver two public lectures at MU next week. The first is "God, Darwin and Design: America's New Battle over Evolution," Thursday, April 27 at 7:30pm. The second is "Time to Abandon Darwin? The Scientist as Citizen in a Time of Controversy," Friday, April 28 at 1:00pm. Both lectures will be held in the Monsanto Auditorium, Life Sciences Center.
