Open Arms Banquet and Silent Auction

Open Arms Pregnancy Resource Centers cordially invites us to join them for their 15th Annual Banquet & Silent Auction, Thursday, March 16 at the Holiday Inn Expo Center. The auction (more than 50 auction items from which to choose) runs 5 to 6:30 and the banquet begins at 6:45. The keynote speaker is Gianna Jessen. Tickets, which include the cost of dinner, are $20.

Aborted in her third trimester, Gianna Jessen remained in a toxic saline solution for eighteen hours in her mother’s womb. When she was delivered, to the surprise of the nurses and other mothers awaiting abortions, she was alive.

Doctors said that Gianna would never sit up, crawl, or walk, but thanks to a dedicated foster mother, today Gianna runs, sings, and rock-climbs. She sings to bring comfort to a tired-out world, fighting with itself, waiting for its rightful place. She challenges young people on issues such as sexual abstinence, forgiveness, perseverance, faith, and obedience to Christ. She has spoken before Congress against partial-birth abortion and in support of the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act. Gianna Jessen is more than an abortion survivor. She’s a modern-day miracle.

John Armstrong

John Armstrong of ACT 3 (formerly known as Reformation & Revival Ministries) will visit us Sunday, April 2, to lead Sunday School and preach in our morning Worship service.
