15th Annual Walk for Life

Saturday, Sept 24, OPEN ARMS holds its 15th Annual WALK FOR LIFE (9:30 a.m. register; 10 Walk) at Oakland Park in Columbia. You & your family and friends are invited to participate in this fund-raiser for a ministry dedicated to helping mid-Missouri women and men make life-affirming decisions re: pregnancy, abstinence & post-abortion recovery. Walk Brochures are available with information on how you can be a part in this ministry as it shares the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to equip women and men in making Truth-based decisions for life and for eternity. Newcomers Class

If you started attending Christ Our King in the past year and/or are interested in learning more about our church family, we invite you to join a newcomers class which begins this Sunday, September 18th, at 9 a.m. The class covers the history of our church, the priorities of our congregation, what we believe and practice, and where we prayerfully sense God leading us in the near future. This six-week course meets in the Benton/Bingham room, where we meet for worship.

Sixth Anniversary of Christ Our King

This Sunday, September 11, is the 6th anniversary of the body of believers who came together under the banner of Christ Our King.

We praise and thank God for sustaining us during these years as we have sought to bring Him glory through our worship, study, fellowship and service together.

May it ever be such, as we affirm that which has challenged and encouraged His saints throughout the history of His Church. (Here is our charter.)
