News from Zimbabwe
We have posted two important documents under Project Zimbabwe. The first is a joint statement by various pastors in Bulawayo (including Kevin Thomson of City Presbyterian Church, our sister church) calling the Mugabe leadership in Zimbabwe to repentance. The second is a recent report from Dave Colhart, a member of City Presbyterian and a leader of the opposition party (MDC). Read this in order to pray more intelligently and effectively for the peace and stability in that region and for the witness of Christ's Church in that land.

Talks by R. T. Kendall
R T Kendall, who for 25 years (until his recent retirement) served as senior minister at Westminster Chapel in London, will speak at Christian Fellowship Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. The public is invited to both of these events, which will focus on two of his more than forty authored books, the most recent of which is "Total Forgiveness."
Kendall grew up in Ashland Ky, of Nazarene parents, beginning his career as a Nazarene pastor, then became a Baptist and in the mid-‘70s studied in the divinity school at Oxford University in England. As a graduate student, he was asked to preach at Westminster Chapel, and eventually he was invited to assume the senior position there in 1977, succeeding Martin Lloyd-Jones. Summer Schedule
Sunday School classes and the Children’s Bible Study classes which meet the same Saturdays at Men’s Prayer Breakfasts will not meet this Summer, but will resume in the Fall.
Worship Service Location
During the summer months our Lord's Day Worship Service will be held in the Walt Disney Room (N208) at the Memorial Union on the University of Missouri campus. (Enter the building as usual, but turn left instead of right at the top of the stairs.) We will return to the Benton/Bingham room in the fall.
